alania caridad hinckson (they/she) is an illustrator from queens, new york. they have a love for paper collage, storytelling, and a newfound crush on typography! they have their b.f.a in illustration from the maryland institute college of art. their debut children’s book, “Oh, Pearl!” is set to be published summer 2026 by Picnic Heist Publishing.
